Our Saturday...

Saturday was pretty good around here. I think we just had lots of fun because we knew we had 2 more days off instead of 1 :)  I love 3 day weekends!!! Saturday we just laid low most of the day. We met up with my cousin Kelly since her husband went out of town to go get ready for hunting season (don't ask me what one has to do to "get ready to hunt"). We went to the little exotic cat rescue place that is in the middle of no.where....seriously. I don't know how Terry ever found this place to begin with. And once we got there, the lady at the front had to warn us that there was a possibility that we might get "sprayed" because they have 6 new cats that are adjusting to the new environment. WHAT!? What do you mean "sprayed"? Yes...pee. Luckily, we go out of there without being urinated on (not an everyday occurrence that you have to worry about that!)...and the kids seemed to enjoy the big cats. As for me, they were a little too close for comfort. Close enough, that I could get a picture like this:

After we left there, it was still so stinkin' hot that we decided to take the kiddos to the spray park in Rockwall.

And, on a different note....this little guy started saying "mama" this week. And not in the babbling sort of way; he looks at me and intentionally says it...not like that dadadada jibberish he's been doing :)
