Halloween 2011
How appropriate for this little piggie to be drinking his milk!
Griffin got to ride in the stroller the entire time. Lazy little piggie! This little piggie was so excited to run up to each door! It made me so happy to see his big smiles all night.
With the big bad daddy. Terry did such a good job dressing himself up as a wolf. I was pretty impressed. It was definitely a big hit. Love that my boys have such a devoted loving daddy!

Catch Up
As I sit on the couch and type this (at 10:15pm), I'm listening to Grayson in his room sayin "merci boque" (spelling??) over and over again. His daddy taught him that it means "thank you" so he's been saying it all day when we do something for him. Pretty cute from a 3 year old. He says some things that crack me up. And Griffin is getting much more vocal lately as well. He repeats alot, but he also asks questions now. Tonight Terry went to a movie with a friend andGriffin's been asking "Where's daddy?" He's a bit harder to understand, but I guess I am just too used to Grayson being so good with his vocabulary. Terry says I need to stop comparing, but it's hard not to.
Gage went to the dr again this week and has his 5th ear infection. Terry went straight to the ENT and the poor baby should be getting tubes in the next week or two. I was freaking out about it because we had taken him earlier this month and the ENT had said he didn't like to take them into the OR until at least 4 months of age. I thought it may be because of the anesthesia. He confirmed that's not his reasoning at all, so I feel much better about the decision to do it now instead of waiting a few months. I feel so bad for him...5 ear infections and he's only 4 months old. I'm praying that this will help with his sleep issues as well and that we will see a full night's sleep in the near future.
And on a completely random note...isn't it weird how a little person can come into your life and after even a day you can't imagine your life without him? I am now the mother of 3 little boys and I can't imagine it any other way. I can't imagine throwing a girl into the mix. Just a few months ago I couldn't imagine what it would be like having 3 little boys. And now I wouldn't have it any other way.

Can you believe this boy will be 2 in a month?? Feels like I was just planning his first birthday and now I have to get started on planning his second. Where does the time go??

Gagey Poo
Well, Gagey Poo (as his brothers call him) is 3 1/2 months old. And he's had 3 ear infections. Two weeks ago I had to take him to the urgent care place after work because I knew he had another one. Funny how I can diagnose both an ear infection or a sinus infection in my boys. The doctor put him on antibiotics but he was still not acting like he felt right, so Terry took him to the ENT on Friday and that poor baby's ears were still infected after being on antibiotics for a week. It's looking like he will be getting tubes in the near future...I'm really torn about that. He's pretty much met the criteria...I mean, 3 ear infections and the boy is only 3 months old. The doctor won't take him in to do the surgery until he's at least 4 months old because he just doesn't like to take them into the OR when they are that little. So, on one hand I feel really bad that I'm pushing to get them done when he's so little. But on the other hand, I just want him to feel good. Poor baby is always congested. So, like I said....torn. Hoping I can feel good about whatever decision we make in the near future. Silly thing to ask for, but I'd appreciate any prayers for this sweet baby.

Long Time No Blog
It's been 2 months since I last posted an entry. Bad, bad blogger. I didn't even post pictures when Gage was born! Bad, bad mommy. I honestly have no excuse. Other than I'm busy. And tired. He is still waking up at least once, sometimes twice a night. And even though I'm only up with him about 30 minutes at a time, it still just wipes me out. The other 2 boys were sleeping through the night by the time I went back to work, so this is taking some getting used to. Good thing that sweet boy is so cute! Poor thing has his 2nd ear infection already...I think he's on the fast track for tubes, but we shall see. Luckily he is like his brothers and they don't seem to bother him too terribly bad.
This is random, but I wanted to add this picture because it makes me laugh everytime I see it. Last month while I was at bunco, Terry took this picture of all of them. I think it speaks for itself.
I love these boys!!

A Day at the Dentist
Well, since the last time I posted we have welcomed Mr Gage. BUT, before I post pics of him, I have to post the pictures of Grayson's first trip to the dentist (and I have to upload the pictures to the computer).
I scheduled dental appointments for both Grayson and Griffin for the week before their little brother's arrival. I had been told before that you should take them to the dentist when they turn 3. Well, when I went to schedule the appt, they told me that they start seeing children as soon as their teeth start coming in (6 months or so). So, needless to say, I scheduled the appt for Griffin as well. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get pictures of him because I had to hold him down the entire time. Fortunately, the hygienist worked incredibly fast and it only took about 3 minutes. It helped that he was screaming, so his mouth was wide open and she had easy access to his teeth.
Grayson, on the other hand, did great. The office is a pediatric dentist office, so the rooms were equipped with TV's on the ceilings playing cartoons. So, he just layed there watching "Robots" and did everything she told him to do. He was so excited when he got done. He told everyone all day that he went to get his teeth cleaned. Hopefully he always stays so excited to go to the dentist.

35 weeks
Tomorrow I will be 35 wks pregnant with my 3rd little boy. I had a dr appt today and had another sonogram due to the fact that I am measuring so big. I can't say I'm real surprised because I measured so big with Griffin as well. With Griffin, I consistently measured 4 wks big; this time I have consistently measured 2-3 wks big. According to what we saw today, the bambino is indeed still a boy. Terry jokes about it coming out a girl...not gonna happen. Also, he apparently takes after his daddy...his head is measuring 3 wks big. It looks great structurally, just big. Big brains I suppose :) As of now, he is weighing in at about 6 lb 1 oz, which means if I go another 4 wks as planned, he could be an 8 lb baby, making him my biggest so far. In all honesty, I'm hoping he makes an early debut. Healthy of course, but man....4 wks seems like so far away!

I'm Alive...
Oh. My. Word. It's been more than a month since I posted on here. Sheesh! In my defense, it's been a busy month. We sold our house and bought a new one, which is why I've been MIA. I'm feeling completely overwhelmed with everything....oh, and there's that whole part of expecting a baby as well. I feel like there is so much to do in the house and it needs to get done, but I'm really not doing all that much to get it there. My doctor put me on bedrest about a week ago due to the fact that I'm already dilating. Not to mention I keep having contractions. Who knows when this guy is going to decide he wants to introduce himself. I'm looking forward to it, but at the same time, there's lots to do before he gets here. I'm the type of person who gets stressed out easily anyways and with everything that's going on I am really feeling it. Sooooo, needless to say, it may be another month before I post again :(

The Big 0-3!
We had Grayson's party a couple of weekends ago (I know, I can't believe I am just now documenting it!) and it went pretty well, if I do say so myself. This was the first time I haven't done the party at home. I decided that I was not having a party at home for a bunch of 3 year olds while I am 7 months pregnant. This was the first year that we invited his friends from school, so there were more kids than in the past years. In this case, it was just easier to pay some other people to entertain the kids. We decided to do it at a new sports complex here in Rockwall. There's a gymnastics area and we thought he would have lots of fun running around in there on all the equipment. We were right.
It was a Tom and Jerry party. Too bad I didn't get pictures of any of that. But he was wearing his new Tom and Jerry shirt. I think this is his 4th one....kind of surprising that I'm ever able to find them in the first place since it's such an old cartoon. He was so excited that was his theme, and I was so glad I was able to find the supplies.
Griffin looked like such a big boy sitting at the table with all the other kids eating his goldfish and cupcake.
It was kind of funny that about 50% of the presents were in Toy Story bags.
His new Buzz Lightyear bike. He loves it!
This is also one of his favorite things. For super bowl, we went to a friend's house and while we were there, he played with their daughter's toy stroller the entire time. So, her mom bought him one for his birthday (she looked high and low for a blue one). I think she knew it would be money well spent. It's so funny how he loves to push it around with that stuffed monkey.
I can't believe my big boy is already 3 years old! Somedays it seems like the days are 48 hours long, but it seems like just yesterday we brought him home. And now he runs around here like a wild hyena most days. Oh, how I love that boy!

Birthday Week
Terry likes to have a "birthday week", not just a day. Well, this week is Grayson's birthday week. I can't believe that on Friday, this guy will be 3 years old!

Finally...
Our house is on the market as of about 20 minutes ago. The realtor came over tonight and we signed all the paperwork. I'm so incredibly stressed about it. Terry, of course, doesn't understand why. I would really like to be in another house by the time this next little boy makes his debut...which should be almost exactly 3 months. That's not a long time considering how the housing market is these days. Terry is convinced that since our house is smaller than most in the neighborhood it will go quicker since so many people are looking to downsize. I'm not as convinced. And, according to him, even if it doesn't go fast, oh well. That just "allows us to save more money for the next house". Aaaagh! So frustrating! Needless to say, any prayers for a quick sale would be greatly appreciated. But to mark this occassion, I snapped a few pictures because I think this is the cleanest our house has been since we moved in.
And on a completely random note, why can't both of these boys look at me at the same time when I'm trying to get a cute picture??

And.....more snow
4 days trapped inside. Not fun. But at least I have a few good pics to show for the snow. I didn't get a whole bunch because Griffin (and mama, I'm not gonna lie) don't do well in the cold. 5 minutes and we were done.
And this is what Grayson looked like when we took his hat off. It was too funny not to take a picture. Look at that hair.

Snow Days
I don't know if I've mentioned it or not, but I do not like the snow. Lots of people think it's pretty and they love it...not me. It is pretty for about 2 minutes and then it gets all nasty and ugly. And it's cold. I don't do cold. That was one of the things I hated about living in Virginia while we were there. Luckily, Terry was awesome and would go out every morning and clean off my car and get it heated up for me. I guess he figured that's the least I deserved after following him up there :)
The past 2 days here have been brutally cold...down to 11 degrees. I know, people in the north just look at us and laugh. My work has been closed and the boys daycare has as well. That means lots of time inside the house. I think I have officially gone stir crazy and have started counting the seconds until Terry gets home. Today has been better than yesterday, thank goodness. But here's a glimpse at what our house looks like when we are here all.day.long. And this is after 1 clean up.
But these faces make it all worth it.

A Talk with my Sweet Boy...
So, tonight I had to have a talk with my sweet big boy about using nice words. He was in bed and Terry and I could hear him in the living room. When we muted the TV, he was clearly saying "stupid daddy" over and over. Not good.
So, I went in to talk to him and he explained to me that the fairy godmother (he was watching Shrek before bed) says stupid. Now's the time we really have to start watching what we say around him and not arguing in front of him because he definitely picks up on it.
He's still such a sweet boy though. I love him and his brother so stinkin' much!! I can't wait until their little brother gets here...they are going to be such stinkers but I think it is going to be so much fun watching them all grow together.

Another Milestone
Grayson got his first shiner over the weekend. Him and his cousin were having a small battle, and Grayson lost. When it first happened, it didn't look like it would be as bruised as it is. Oh well. I knew it would happen one day.
